These Purchase Terms (“Terms”) govern the sale and delivery of services by Scorpions Basketball Limited (“we”, “our”, or “the Club”). By purchasing our services, you (“the customer” or “you”) agree to these Terms.


1. Description of Products and Services

Scorpions Basketball Limited provides:

  • Basketball coaching and training programmes

  • Participation in competitive games, league fixtures, and tournaments

  • One-off events such as camps, trials, and development sessions

These services are designed to develop skills, fitness, and confidence in players of various ages and abilities.


2. Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely via Adyen, using credit/debit cards.

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Recurring payments collected on a monthly basis from the date of registration or first payment.

  • One-Off Events: Payment is required in full at the time of booking.

  • Invoices (if applicable): Payment must be made by the due date specified.

Customers are responsible for ensuring valid payment methods remain active to avoid service interruptions.


3. Delivery of Services

All services are delivered in-person at designated venues across Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas. Session details, including time, location, and requirements, will be provided upon confirmation of registration and available through our 360Player App.


4. Refunds and Cancellations

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • Once a monthly payment / Subscription fee is processed, it is non-refundable.

  • To cancel a subscription and avoid the next charge, written notice must be given at least 14 days before the next scheduled payment.

One-Off Events:

  • Refunds are only available if cancellation is made at least 14 days before the scheduled event.

  • Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by Scorpions Basketball.

Requests must be submitted in writing to us either Here or to the Admin on 360Player App, you must ensure the request has had a response to confirm received. 


5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information upon registration.

  • Ensure players arrive on time and with suitable attire and equipment.

  • Notify the Club of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or learning needs. This can be completed via the players profile settings of the 360Player App.

  • Adhere to our Code of Conduct and respect staff, facilities, and other participants.


6. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any disruption, delay, or failure to perform services due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to: severe weather, public health emergencies, venue closures, or government restrictions.


7. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to training schedules, venues, or coaching personnel when necessary. Notice of changes will be given in advance via the 360Player App wherever possible.


8. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (UK GDPR). This includes contact information, emergency details, media consent, and participation records.

We use the 360Player App for secure communication and session management. Access to your information is restricted to authorised staff only.


9. Media Consent

By registering, you consent to photographs and videos of sessions being used by Scorpions Basketball Limited for promotional purposes, unless you opt out. If you need more information for Opt-out requests this should be sent to info@scorpionsbasketball.co.uk


10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern regarding our services, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue promptly.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
