With the last games for the year happening this weekend, the league tables are half way through the season and starting to shape up potential finish positions. Our Under 14's have had a very competitive start with the top teams from the East Region all being put in to the same league. They end the year in 7th place with 5 wins and 7 losses, but have managed to keep a positive points difference. They play 5 of the 6 teams above them after the holidays which they look to improve on previous results and move up the league table.
The Under 16's finish 2017 in 5th place (5/6 record) although with recent departure of Thurrock Hornets official record shows only 4 wins. In the new year we get to host Chelmsford Lions and Essex Rockets which will be a good indicator of the progress made from previous game results.
Finally our Under 18's haven't had the best of starts to the season with only two wins. However, one of those wins was very impressive, this was against Milton Keynes Trojans, when they managed to bring back a 20+ point deficit to win by only 1 point. It is going to be a very difficult second half of the season with travelling away to the three top teams, but the players are determined and with hard work can cause a few upsets in the league.
